Funeral
Grim cellar covered with mold (covered with mold)
And this is not a burial vault
The rusty abutments and the bare concrete
The fetid and stale smell and the spirit of the dead
And this is the place where the death lives (where the death lives)
The endless funnel peering right into your soul
The chasm devouring your body
Screams of souls on fire and of children buried alive
Cutting off your ears, eroding your eyes and ruining your dreams
Catacombs built of human bones
The cerberus guarding this place rip off your flesh
The last refuge
So sail down deeper and deeper in hell with Death on board
The last refuge
I choke on my blood, I pray for the god which doesn't exist, i belive
Anyway I will be left and buried at this place
Where the catacombs are built of human bones
I choke on my blood, I pray for the god which doesn't exist and i belive
Cutting off your ears, eroding your eyes and ruining your dreams
Catacombs built of human bones
The cerberus guarding this place rip off your flesh
Grim cellar covered with mold
And this is not a burial vault (a burial vault)
The rusty abutments and the bare concrete (bare concrete)
My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction
Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
Chicago deathcore outfit Into the Silo torch everything in sight on this searing new LP with riffs that will leave bruises. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 21, 2022
